Our Commitment
Capital Restoration Services wants this website to be usable by everyone, including people with disabilities. We believe access to information about our services should not depend on how you use the web.
We aim toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, known as WCAG 2.1, at Level AA as an ongoing target for this site. We treat accessibility as continuing work, not a one-time project, and we keep looking for ways to improve.
This commitment covers the pages and tools we build ourselves. Where we rely on outside tools, that is noted in the Ongoing Work section below. If you are unsure whether a page meets your needs, contact us and we will help you get the information another way.
We look at this statement from time to time and update it as our work continues. It reflects where we stand today and where we are heading.
What We Do on This Site
We design pages so they can be used with a keyboard alone, without a mouse. Links, buttons, and forms are built to work in a logical order when you move through them with the Tab key.
Images that carry meaning include text descriptions, so visitors using screen readers can understand them. We also pay attention to color contrast, so text stands out clearly against its background.
Pages use clear headings in a sensible order, which helps screen readers and also makes pages easier to scan for everyone. We keep layouts simple and language plain so content is easy to follow.
Forms on this site are labeled clearly so you know what each field asks for. Error messages explain what needs fixing in plain words, not codes. We keep forms short so they are easy to complete.
Ongoing Work
Accessibility is never finished. As we add new pages and features, we check them against our target and fix problems we find. Older pages get attention too when we update them.
We know automated checks cannot catch everything, so real-world feedback matters to us. If a page is hard to use, we want to know about it so we can make it better.
Some parts of the web are outside our control, such as tools or content provided by others. We do our best to choose accessible options and to limit barriers wherever we can.
When we learn about a barrier, we fix the cause rather than patching around it. That way the same problem does not come back on the next page we build.
How to Report an Issue
If you run into an access barrier on this site, please tell us. Write to info@capitalwaterandfirerestoration.com or call (877) 276-1067 and describe what you were trying to do and what got in the way.
Helpful details include the page address, the device and browser you used, and the kind of assistive technology involved, if any. The more you can tell us, the faster we can fix it.
We read every report and respond as promptly as we can. If you need the information on a page in a different format, let us know and we will do our best to provide it.
We aim to answer access-related messages quickly, because a barrier can block you from getting help you need. If your request is urgent, say so in your message or call (877) 276-1067 directly.
You do not need to use any special form to report a problem. A plain email describing the issue in your own words is perfect.
Compatible Tools and Browsers
This site is built to work with modern browsers and common assistive tools, including screen readers and voice control software. We test key pages with a keyboard and with screen reader software as part of our checks.
Keeping your browser up to date helps a great deal. Newer browsers support the features that make pages accessible, while very old ones may not. If a page misbehaves, updating your browser often fixes it.
Zooming your browser to enlarge text should not break the layout. If you find that zooming causes content to overlap or disappear, please report it so we can fix it.
Looking Ahead
We plan to keep accessibility part of how we build and update this site. Each round of improvements makes the site easier for more people to use, and no page is exempt from these checks.
Thank you for helping us get there. Your feedback shapes what we work on next, and we appreciate every report.
Every update moves us closer to our target. We are glad to have you with us on the way.
If you have ideas for making the site easier to use, we welcome them. Good suggestions often come from the people who use the site every day.
Accessibility benefits everyone who visits the site, including people using phones in bright sunlight or computers with small screens. Designing for the edges makes the middle better too.
